Christmas shows up in the kitchen the minute these go over the oven handle. Two towels, one classic Mud Pie holiday look, and suddenly the sink is the most festive corner of the house.
Standing Classic Christmas Towel Set by Mud Pie. A two-pack of Christmas kitchen towels from Mud Pie's classic holiday line, $16.50 for the set at Adelyne's Boutique & Gifts in Tomball, Texas.
Why y'all love it
- It is a set of two, so one can live by the sink and one can hang on the oven door without you buying twice.
- Classic Christmas styling that reads holiday without shouting, so it plays nicely with whatever your kitchen already has going on.
- Kitchen towels earn their keep all December: drying hands, lining a bread basket, wrapping warm rolls on the way to the table.
- An easy gift under twenty dollars that is never the wrong size, which makes it a hostess, teacher, neighbor and cookie-exchange favorite.
- Mud Pie is one of the most asked-for gift lines we carry, and the Christmas pieces are the first to go.

How to use it
Hang one on the oven handle the day you put the tree up and leave it there through New Year's. Keep the second folded by the sink, or tuck it into a gift basket with a candle and a bag of good coffee. Wash before first use so the towels drink up water instead of pushing it around, and wash them warm and tumble low through the season.
Frequently asked questions
How many towels come in a set?
Two. The price shown is for the pair, not for a single towel.
Are these kitchen towels or bathroom hand towels?
They are kitchen towels, sized for drying hands and dishes and for hanging on an oven door or a cabinet pull. Plenty of folks use a pretty set in a powder room at Christmas, and these work there too.
Do they make a good hostess gift?
They are one of the easiest gifts in the shop. Nobody has to find room for them, nobody has to guess a size, and a Christmas towel set gets used every single day of the season. Pair it with a candle or a jar of jam and you have a finished gift.
Should I wash them before using them?
Yes. A first wash softens the weave and makes a new towel far more absorbent. Wash with like colors and skip fabric softener, which coats the fibers and makes towels repel water.
