Santa, over and over, all the way down the towel. It is the kind of print that makes a plain kitchen look like it has been decorated, and it takes about four seconds to put up.
Santa Repeat Classic Christmas Towel Set by Mud Pie. A two-pack of Christmas kitchen towels in a repeating Santa design from Mud Pie's classic holiday line, $16.50 for the set at Adelyne's Boutique & Gifts in Tomball, Texas.
Why y'all love it
- A repeating Santa print reads as pattern from across the room and as a little character up close, so it decorates harder than a single-motif towel.
- You get two, which means one stays clean on the oven door while the other does the actual work.
- Kitchen towels are the one Christmas decoration that still has a job to do in January when you are hauling out the last of the cookie trays.
- Under twenty dollars, no size to guess, and it wraps flat, which makes it a standing answer for hostess, teacher and neighbor gifts.
- Mud Pie Christmas pieces move fast in the shop once November hits.

How to use it
Hang one over the oven handle and fold the other beside the sink, or roll the pair together with a ribbon and hand them off as a gift that needs no box. They are also a quick way to dress a kitchen for a party: swap the everyday towels out an hour before people arrive and the whole room changes. Wash before first use, then warm wash and low tumble through the season.
Frequently asked questions
How many towels are in this set?
Two. The listed price covers the pair.
What is the difference between this and the Standing Classic towel set?
Same Mud Pie Classic Christmas line, different artwork. This one is a repeating Santa print across the towel; the Standing set uses a single standing design. Plenty of people buy both and alternate them through December.
Are these sturdy enough for everyday use?
Yes. These are working kitchen towels, not display-only pieces, so put them to work drying hands and dishes all season.
Should I wash them before using them?
Wash before first use so the weave softens and the towel actually absorbs. Wash with like colors and skip fabric softener, which coats fibers and makes towels repel water.
