The Church Boxed Trinket Dish is a 4 1/2" stoneware dish that arrives nestled in a rustic wood display crate on a bed of kraft paper shreds. The packaging is the gift — there's nothing to wrap, and it looks considered the moment it's handed over.
Why You'll Love It
- Arrives gift-ready in a wood crate with kraft shreds, so it needs no wrapping and no gift bag
- Dishwasher and microwave safe — unusual for a decorative dish, and it means this one gets genuinely used
- Stoneware, with the weight and density that reads as quality in the hand
- 4 1/2" across — the right size for rings by the sink, keys by the door, or earrings on a dresser
- A faith gift that isn't a plaque, which makes it far easier to give to someone whose taste you don't know

The Occasions It Covers
Mud Pie positions this for Easter, but a church motif reaches much further than one Sunday. It suits a baptism, a christening, a First Communion, a confirmation, or a gift for a godparent, a Sunday school teacher, or someone joining a new church. Those happen all year, which makes this one of the few faith gifts worth keeping on the shelf in February as well as April.
It also sits naturally beside the Bible Song Book if you're building a christening or dedication gift.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it come in the wooden crate?
Yes — the crate and kraft paper shreds are part of the product, so it's ready to give as-is.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
Yes, and the microwave too. Mud Pie lists it as safe for both, which is rare for a decorative trinket dish.
How big is it?
4 1/2 inches in diameter — a ring-dish size rather than a serving piece.
What would you use it for?
Rings and a watch by the kitchen sink, keys on an entry table, earrings on a vanity, or a small dish of salt or olives.
Is this only an Easter gift?
No. The church design works for baptisms, christenings, First Communion, confirmation and general faith gifting year-round.
