Pumpkin Dip Recipe Tidbit Set

The Pumpkin Dip Recipe Tidbit Set is a 2-piece set: a glass tidbit bowl with the recipe printed right on the outside, plus a stamped silverplate spoon. A recipe hang tag comes with it. The bowl is 3" tall by 5 3/4" across and the spoon is 4".

Why You'll Love It

The recipe is on the bowl it can't be lost, misplaced, or left in a drawer with the takeaway menus
Stamped silverplate spoon, which lifts it well above a novelty dish
It tells you what to make most hostess gifts sit on a shelf; this one comes with an instruction
Recipe hang tag included, so it's gift-ready with no wrapping
Clear glass works with any table setting rather than only an autumn one

The Gift That Comes With A Plan

The problem with most hostess gifts is that they don't ask anything of the person receiving them. This one does — the recipe is right there on the glass, so it stops being an object and becomes something they'll actually make on a Sunday in October.

It's the right size and price to bring to a fall gathering, add to a Thanksgiving hostess basket, or give to a neighbour alongside a jar of something. Because the recipe never leaves the bowl, it comes back out every autumn.

Gather Gourd Tidbit Plates (2)

A hand-painted stoneware tidbit plate shaped as a pumpkin or gourd, finished with a reactive glaze so the color pools and shifts across every piece. Perfectly sized for appetizers, desserts and small servings.

Hand-painted stoneware with reactive glaze
Unique reactive glaze finish makes no two plates come out the same
Figural shapes cut to the pumpkin and gourd silhouettes
Harvest rather than Halloween, so they carry from September through Thanksgiving
Brand: Mud Pie

Colors:

White Marble Pumpkin: cream with a marbled reactive finish
Orange Gourd: the taller gourd silhouette in warm harvest orange
White Pumpkin: a classic round pumpkin in soft cream
Orange Marble Pumpkin: orange with marbling running through the glaze

Stacked Pumpkin Painted Wine Glass (2)

The Stacked Pumpkin Painted Wine Glass is a stemless glass with a hand-painted stack of pumpkins and a painted rim, sold individually. Three pumpkins piled one on another is the busiest and most decorative of the three icons — the one that carries a plain table on its own.

Why You'll Love It

The most detailed of the three designs — a stacked pumpkin has more going on than a single icon, so it holds attention on an otherwise simple setting
Sold singly, so you buy for the number of seats you're actually setting
Hand-painted icon and rim with brushwork rather than a printed transfer
Stemless — steady on a full table, easy to store
Third design in the run, alongside the single pumpkin and the cornucopia
